秉持“科大新医学”理念，神经外科神经重症亚专科积极开展高质量临床研究及探索，近期临床科研成果获得国际学会及权威杂志认可。

在2022年10月即将在旧金山召开的第22届美国神经外科年会以及2022年中华医学会神经外科学会第二十次学术会议上，汤睿博士及杜敏副主任医师主持的课题《Influence of Positive End Expiratory Pressure on Brain Lung Interaction in Severe Acute Brain Injury Patients with Moderate to Severe Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome: the role of lung recruitability》、《Prognostic Significance of Plasma Insulin Level for Deep Venous Thrombosis in Patients with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury in Critical Care》被大会选为优秀论文，并受邀进行大会汇报及优秀壁报展，论著《Prognostic Significance of Plasma Insulin Level for Deep Venous Thrombosis in Patients with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury in Critical Care》被美国神经重症学会旗下唯一官方杂志《Neurocritical Care》接收。

此外，在第19届美国神经重症年会上，在周敏教授的指导下，神经重症汤睿博士所主持的有关神经重症患者深静脉血栓的临床研究受邀在大会进行线上口头汇报，所撰写的论文《D-dimer is valuable for predicting the extension of isolated distal deep vein thrombosis of the lower limb in neurocritical patients》被选为优秀论文。
